Bundesliga: Defeat for Rhein-Neckar Löwen, victory for Flensburg and Kiel - all scorers at a glance

Today seven games of German Bundesliga had been played. Top match was the duel between MT Melsungen and Rhein-Neckar Löwen. After a weekend with a victory in Leipzig on Saturday and a tie in Barcelona on Sunday, the German champion run out of power against a very good defence of Melsungen. The host celebrated a 29-26, it was the second defeat for Rhein-Neckar Löwen.

Füchse Berlin was so able to defend the lead, the club from the German capital had problems in Minden but after scoring five unanswered goals to 27-21 the way for the 37-29 was paved.

Second-placed is SG Flensburg-Handewitt, after an early 8-1 and a 16-6 already before the break the team of Anders Zachariassen, who scored eleven times, gained a clear 38-23 against Hüttenberg.

Magdeburg defended the sixth place with a victory against Erlangen, Wetzlar won 30-21 against Ludwigshafen and Hannover had no problems to beat Stuttgart 27-20.
